Jet Set
Traveling with children can be challenging and overwhelming especially when it comes to packing. Bringing the right travel bag for your baby is key! Ladies, ditch those designer diaper bags for the diaper book bag! Packing your diaper is an art. Think of packing like your playing Tetris! The purpose of Tetris is to combine blocks of different shapes and sizes to form a complete compact rows. This same concept can be applied when you are packing for your baby (or babies). Think of each baby item as a different shape, just like the various shapes in the Tetris Game. When you leave the house, you want to avoid bringing everything but the kitchen sink while still being prepared for those "what ifs." When traveling with children, pack a sense of humor along with all the extra diapers, outfits, snacks, and bottles (sipping cups) you'll need for your trip. While planning is key, experienced moms of twins and multiples know to be prepared for the unexpected.

Tips for Airline Travel
**If your babies over 12 months of age drink milk, most airlines will provide milk (check with the airline)**
**Pack heavy jackets in your checked luggage.
**If you're traveling with a baby or toddler, don't worry about the 3-ounce container rule -- just travel with as much food as needed to reach your destination. My tip with baby milk and food is placing the items in a zip lock bag.

Flying with babies
Fabric books, grabbing toys, soothing items (blanket, pacifier)
Flying with toddlers
Bring anything that lights up and has buttons. Paperback books, self-inking stamps, stickers, magna-doodle or etch-a-sketch, small stuffed animals, portable DVD player with headset, a special blanket or soothing item.
Flying with children ages 3-6
Bring paperback books, simple self-contained art kits, activity books (dot-to-dot, mazes), sticker books, coloring books, Wikki Stix, small stuffed animals or figures, hand-held video games, and portable DVD player with headset. A deck of cards is fun for go fish or other matching games. Help your children pack their own carry-on (something with wheels they can pull themselves).
Flying with children 7+
Put them in charge of packing and carrying their own backpack. Suggest they bring: homework, books, iPod/iPad, hand-held video games, deck-of-cards, brain-teaser games, find-a-words, and crossword puzzles.
